Hi everyone!
Well, as many of you have noticed, the SmallWorlds brand has been evolving over the past few months, and we've been hard at work on this at SWHQ doing a LOT of research, doing concept work, and running trials...
After a lot of very long hours SmallWorlds has got something to show you!
Introducing our new SmallWorlds friendly faces...
As you can see SmallWorlds has taken player feedback into account, most notably the characters are:

Now, here's YOUR chance to create an official SmallWorlds character!!
Create an avatar who you think would make the perfect addition to the other four above. Then, take a screen shot of your creation and submit it to this thread; we'll pick the winning one to become our fifth character!
Because we want to make sure that a non-VIP is also represented in our characters, and to make it fair for everyone, your character must be completely attired in NON-VIP clothing and items and have non-VIP facial and hair features.
Submissions are open until SUNDAY, JANUARY 13th at MIDNIGHT SWT.
The GRAND PRIZE winner will not only receive the bragging rights of having their character immortalized but that person will also receive 10,000 GOLD!!!
In addition, from all entrants we'll randomly select 10 winners and award them with 2,000 gold.
Usual forum posting rules and contest rules apply.

Q1. Where will these characters be appearing?
A1. We'll be using the new friendly faces characters in areas where we need high resolution artwork (advertisements, larger graphics), external websites (like facebook.com/smallworlds) and even on the new SmallWorlds.com website that we're working on.
Q2. But all of the characters that you show are VIP!
A2. Yup, we know! We're looking to add a non-VIP character to our group. And this also makes it an even playing field for everyone participating.
Q3. How many times can I enter?
A3. Design as many avatars and submit as many screenshots as you would like. You can only win one prize though.
