Independence Day - the Mission

Hey Guys!

This year as July 4th rolls around in America, the SmallWorlds team got put in mind of one of their all time favourite movies, Independence Day. They remember when it came out in 1996, queuing for half an hour to get seated in a movie I had bought tickets for the week before it opened.

If you haven't seen ID4 then you'd be in a very small group of people as it was a huge hit and has been lampooned, parodied many times in the last decade and a half. So this year in honor of this film SmallWorlds present Independence Day a SmallWorlds-made mission.It's not a big mission and it's made with tongues firmly in cheek.  For all it's cheesy dialogue, convenient plot devices and over the top acting it's still a movie that entertains and in that spirit we have a mission that recreates a little part of that film in a way that only SmallWorlds would do.

The Battle Monkey Minions have also been hard at work loading the spaces up with interactions and descriptions on items that have been designed to amuse and entertain. You can speed through the mission to get the reward if you want, but if you have a few minutes click on everything that isn't nailed down and see what you can find in there.

Built with love and respect for one of SmallWorlds's favourite cheesy films, you can find Independence Day in Featured Missions, it's the one with a Brain in a Jar icon! SmallWorlds hope you enjoy and have a bit of a giggle, they certainly did making it.
