THESE ARE NOT MY PHOTOS! I FOUND THEM ON GOOGLE!
Hey guys!
Guess what.... I'M BACK!! YAY! Hehe.
Now I can post again!
I updated with some posts on what is going on in SmallWorlds just before I posted this. I arrived home yesterday. Thursday the 4th of April 2013 at around 4pm, but I didn't post straight away, because I was tired, so I thought to wait for the next day. (But then I finished writing it the day after =P
The plane took off about 1pm (Italian time) (12pm British time) It is an hour later in Italy than where I am in Britain. The flight is about 2 hours and 10 minutes.
Anyway, I wanted to tell you about my trip to Rome.
My mum and I went together.
When we arrived we had a tour by the taxi driver who collected us from the airport to take us to our hotel which is called 'Hotel Forum'. Then we went for dinner.
The 1st full day it was cloudy, we went to the Colosseum. The Colosseum was where gladiators would fight back in the Roman times.
Then after visiting he Colosseum we went to the Roman Forum where old Roman ruins are.
On the next day we walked in the rain to the Trevi Fountain. I put a coin in. When you throw in a coin, it means you are going to come back to Rome one day... but really the money just goes to charity.
Then we walked back to the hotel.
The next day we went to the Vatican. The Vatican City is a separate country even though it is inside Rome. It is the smallest country in the world!
We went to look inside the Vatican museum which lead into the Sixteen Chapel where Michael Angelo painted his paintings... To be honest, I found it rather boring. The only bit I didn't find boring was the Egyptian part. The was even a real dead mummified body!
You not allowed to take pictures in the Sixteen Chapel so I can't find any photos of the Sixteen Chapel
Inside the Vatican as part of the paintings.
The outside of the Vatican.
This was a real mummified body!
After the Vatican, we went and sat outside Saint Peters Church.
The Pope wasn't there when we got there. We could have looked inside, but the Que was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO long!!
When we got back, we relaxed in the hotel for a while and then we went and walked round the Colosseum. Then we got a horse and carriage ride for half an hour round the square that we were staying in! We passed the Colosseum (because they were outside of the Colosseum), passed a white museum place and passed roads and stuff.
Well... that's all I have to say about my holiday! I could have added my own photos but I couldn't upload them. So these are images I found on Google.
See you soon!

Then we walked, in the rain again, to the Spanish steps. They're old, but I don't see what all the fuss is about. They are just a bunch of steps...
Then we had a McDonalds LOL
But then, we walked to the amazing Time Elevator... great for kids and adults. The one we saw was the evalution of the world in 15 minutes. It was 4D and we were in seats moving around, it was amazing. Then we saw a 4D history of Rome for 45 minutes and we were moving around... again, amazing.
Then we walked back to the hotel.
