Hey Guys!
Hey Guys!
“SmallWorlds: the Game Where You Belong!”
That's SmallWorlds' new tagline and now they're working hard to soak that into how they look, and how they make SmallWorlds work for you. In April SmallWorlds is going to be making three really exciting changes to they're site:
1 - New Look Website SmallWorlds' team has the blinds pulled tight on the final version as they polish up the final Truly Awesome version - here’s a sneak peek. The new design will be sleeker, easier to use and looks really fantastic. It’s going to include an all new e-magazine called First Post – the old Chronicle newspaper brought back to life and given an exciting new identity! SmallWorlds knows you’ll love reading First Post every time you visit SmallWorlds. I will have to find it so that I can post on here and find out news! 2 - Kudos SmallWorlds replacing the Loyalty Challenge with a new rewards programme that rewards you for playing - introducing Kudos Its this easy: you’ll earn Kudos points by doing whatever it is that you love to do in SmallWorlds! Another major plus is this: the more people who participate, the more time SmallWorlds' artists can devote to creating awesome items. High participation = Kudos Items in (a brighter) art team spotlight. SmallWorlds understand that this change will impact some of you in ways that you may not like and that this will feel uncomfortable. They have other changes in the Marketplace & Trading arena coming soon – we’ll keep you posted. 3 - New Look Forums Forums are getting a brand new design, and forum categories are better organised: 1) Official SmallWorlds Communications: SmallWorlds FAQ & Help, System Status, Legal, Online Safety, Rush Hour 2) SmallTalk: Replacing General 3) Suggestion Box: Replacing Feature Suggestions 4) Community: Subcategories for all different communities in SmallWorlds. 5) Marketplace: Price Checks, Buying & Selling 6) Technical Support: Technical Support, Current Known Issues Forum Conversations The forums are made up of a lively bunch of enthusiastic players sharing lots of great information & opinions. In order to encourage a respectful and open forum we have three easy to remember guiding principles that our forum team (and all you forum posters) can work with:
This won’t be the last of the improvements that SmallWorlds is making. Stay tuned! | |
