New Friends Bar & You Can Sculpt!

Hey Guys!

There's so many new things in recently released that I barely know where to start to tell you all about the changes! 

SmallWorlds are moving forward with the big changes that are collectively referred to as SmallWorlds 4.0, but also they represent to them the ongoing evolution of SmallWorlds, the game we all love to play. 

Here are the big four things I want to highlight to you, but you will also see some other new functionality all designed to make it easier to play. 

New Footer Design

In February, SmallWorlds introduced a new game header design, moved things around and made some changes to the way XP works. 

In March, SmallWorlds has moved some of the smaller controls away from the game space into the footer bar. What this means is a cleaner and more efficient use of the space at the bottom of your screen, making it easier to play SmallWorlds. Go in world and see for yourself the new look to the bottom of the screen. 

A New Way to Play With Your Friends

SmallWorlds has added a new Friends Bar which you can hide away when you're not using. You can see yourself and your friends in one easy glance, sort through your friends, find new ones or invite people to play in SmallWorlds with you. SmallWorlds is best played with friends whether you make them in world, or invite your real world friends to join you here. 

New Commercial Space - The Art Gallery

SmallWorlds are featuring a brand new Commercial Space - the Art Gallery. With a parking lot, foyer and grand entrance, what better space could you have to focus and feature your artworks? Whether you line the walls with pictures, fill the floor with sculptures or do a mix of both, this space is perfect for all artists and collectors!

You'll also find some brand new furniture for sale in the Art Gallery.  To take a look for yourself, go to the For Sale section of your Places Panel, and click on the Art Gallery showroom.

The Sculpture Widget

And finally SmallWorlds has a brand new widget available that allows you to create a sculpture from a block of SmallWorlds marble! Pick up your sculpture blocks from the new Art Gallery Space, and you can start sculpting straight away.  With a range of chisel sizes and sandpaper tools you can craft anything you can put your mind too. And make sure you check Facebook for the opening day competition!

There's always so much to see and do in SmallWorlds and now with the new Sculpture Widget, you can really get creative. The best way to see how it works is to give it a try.  So whether you're a new player or a seasoned veteran of the game, now's a great time to play!
