We'd like to invite you to join the Swoscars celebrations. Complete the Swoscars mission and join us in a toast of Pink Bubbly to celebrate the achievements of the winners of the Swoscars film-making contest.

The Swoscars are one of SmallWorlds most prestigious awards, recognizing the hard work of our talented filmmakers.
It was a difficult job for SmallWorlds's panel of judges to select only eight winners, a mixture reflective of the different capabilities and talents of our diverse film-making community. Each winner has demonstrated a commitment to furthering the SmallWorlds industry and to getting others involved.

Lifetime Achievement Award: Jake Coole-r
Jake's body of work has amassed an absolutely staggering 30,000 views on YouTube, making him the most popular and prolific of all of the SmallWorlds directors.
Best Production House: Yellow Jelly Productions
Yellow Jelly have assembled an amazingly talented cast and crew, creating jobs for the cream of the crop of SmallWorlds talent.

Promising Young Director Award: Jammie Lawler
Jammie is someone to keep an eye out for. The judges were impressed by the tenacity and hard work that is so evident in Jammie's work.
Best SmallWorlds Series Company: Eye See You Productions
ESYP are as bountiful in their amazingly creative ideas, as they are in the fans of their shows. They also run regular talent recruiting so if you've ever dreamed of acting you ought to call them up.
Ingenue Award: Tansy Pops
Tansy's commitment and dedication to the craft are evident in her films that are made with a passion and honesty sure to impress.
Pointed Progress Award: Karens Walker
From her first Fright Nite entry to her incredibly advanced special effects of her February submission, the subtleties in Karen's work are what make it award winning.
Artistic Flaire Award: Tanis Smith
Tanis has the distinction of being one of only two people to have entered every single SmallWorlds film contest. Her love of film-making shines through with every entry, as does her perseverance.
Sincere Screenwriting Award: Joseph Jaramillo (2)
The judges love the honesty and joyousness that mark Joseph's work, and look forward to seeing this young director's skills develop over the coming contests.

Congratulations To All Who Entered
As I see it, everyone who has entered the film contests is a winner. I'm continuously impressed by the caliber of the cinematography, the stunning effects and the brilliant screenplays. Kudos to the talented SmallWorlds film-makers for all of your achievements.
If you have not yet entered a SmallWorlds film contest, opportunity awaits! The next film contest begins now, with the theme "New Beginnings". Entries are due April 8th so you've got plenty of time to write your screenplays, cast your actors, shoot your film and add the polish in the editing room. More details will be published in the Chronicle soon, so stay tuned.
